Senior engineers, no bench

Every engineer here designs, builds and operates. If you want to own a system end to end and be trusted to say no to a client, read on.

    Senior Cloud Engineer

    Cloud

Atlanta, GA or remote (US time zones) · Full time

Design and run migrations end to end: inventory, landing zones in Terraform, Kubernetes platforms and the cutover bridge at 2am. You own the decision record and you answer the pager for what you built.

    What we look for

    • Five or more years running production workloads on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
    • Terraform in anger, with modules other people reuse
    • At least one migration of 50 or more servers that you led
    • Comfortable explaining a trade-off to a CTO and to an auditor in the same week
  • security-engineer

    Security Engineer, Detection and Response

    Security

Atlanta, GA or remote (US time zones) · Full time

Build detections that fire for the right reasons, run the incident bridge when they do, and turn the findings into controls that produce their own evidence.

    What we look for

    • Experience with a SIEM (Sentinel, Splunk or Chronicle) and an EDR platform
    • You have written detections and tuned them until the on-call engineer stopped hating you
    • You can scope and run a penetration test and explain the findings to a product team
    • Familiar with SOC 2, HIPAA or PCI DSS from the implementation side
  • ai-engineer

    AI Engineer

    AI

Remote (North America or West Africa) · Full time or contract

Take retrieval systems and agents from prototype to production: evaluation suites, guardrails, cost ceilings and the boring reliability work that makes a demo into a product.

    What we look for

    • You have shipped a production system on a model API and can show the eval suite
    • Strong Python or TypeScript, Postgres, and one of Bedrock, Azure OpenAI or Vertex
    • You know what faithfulness, recall and refusal rate mean and have moved them
    • You write down what you tried and why it did not work

How hiring runs

Four steps, one of them paid

  1. Application

Send a CV and three paragraphs on a system you built and what you would change. No cover letter.

  2. Technical conversation

Sixty minutes with two engineers about that system. No whiteboard puzzles.

  3. Paid working session

A half-day, paid, on a real problem from a current engagement, with the team.

  4. Offer

Within a week of the working session. Written, with the salary band and the on-call expectations.

Benefits

  • Remote first, with on-site time when a cutover or audit needs it
  • Health, dental and vision for US employees
  • Twenty days of leave plus public holidays, and real on-call compensation
